Comments: right image is "colorized" to highlight the active regions. This very elongated galaxy with dust
and bright knots is near the Big Dipper. It is one of the most interesting of all galaxies because it's the victim
of a possible cosmic collision with M81. Recently, the center has been found to contain multiple black holes.
Also called the Cigar or Starburst Galaxy.
